Crib
Fitted Sheet Dimensions: 52 x 27 inches (132 x 68.5 cm)
Our Crib Mattress Sheets are a perfect size and fit for baby’s first bed! They fully enclose the mattress, meaning they won’t ever pop off. It’s also super easy to zip on and off whenever you need to clean up a mess or give the bed a refresh.
Twin
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:75 x 39 inches (190 x 99 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 74 x 105 inches (188 x 267 cm)
Twin-sized mattresses are a staple in many children’s rooms since they’re so compact. Twin sheets can also be used for many convertible beds like futons and pull-out couches, as well as for twin-sized loft beds and bunk beds. You might also need twin sheets if your bed is a “split king,” or two twin mattresses pushed together.
Cal Twin
Fitted Sheet Dimensions: 84 x 36 inches (213 x 91.5 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 74 x 105 inches (188 x 267 cm)
California twin-sized mattresses are both thinner and longer than Twin or Twin XL mattresses, and are perhaps most popularly used in doubles to form Split Cal Kings. Because of this, they’re a little less common than other types of twin-sized mattresses, but QuickZip has plenty of bed sheet options for this harder-to-find fit!
Twin XL
Fitted Sheet Dimensions: 80 x 39 inches (203 x 99 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 74 x 105 inches (188 x 267 cm)
Twin XL mattresses are an excellent option for stretching out and allowing a little more legroom for growing kids while still keeping the bed width relatively compact (perfect for siblings sharing rooms!). If you’re in a dorm, your mattress might also find its best fit with our Twin XL sheets. Finally, Twin XL sheets are also useful for “Split King” beds that are made of two Twin XL mattresses. Shop for Twin XL bed sheets here.
Full
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:75 x 54 inches (190 x 137 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 96 x 105 inches (244 x 267 cm)
The perfect “in-between” bed size, full-sized mattresses are a great fit for apartments, smaller rooms, and guest rooms. Your kids might also like the added roominess of a full-sized mattress, plus they’re a great fit for “twin over full” or “full over full” bunk beds.
Queen
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:80 x 60 inches (203 x 193 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 96 x 105 inches (244 x 267 cm)
At a roomy 80 x 60 inches, queen-sized mattresses can fit one to two people quite comfortably. This also makes it one of the most popular mattress sizes! Make sure to double-check your bed’s dimensions prior to purchasing fitted queen sheets since there are also short queen sizes (see below).
RV/ Short Queen
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:75 x 60 inches (190 x 152 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 96 x 105 inches (244 x 267 cm)
As the name suggests, an RV or short queen mattress is slightly shorter than a regular-sized queen to accommodate small spaces like RVs and trailers. Specialized RV queen sheets will be about five inches shorter as a result.
King
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:80 x 76 inches (203 x 193 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 112 x 110 inches (284 x 279 cm)
The pinnacle of comfort and practicality, a king-sized mattress is large enough to fit the entire family (and maybe a pet or two). Shop our collection of zip sheets for king-sized beds here to make changing the sheets of this massive mattress a breeze.
RV King
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:80 x 72 inches (203 x 183 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 112 x 110 inches (284 x 279 cm)
If you’re traveling in style, you might have an RV king-sized mattress aboard your vehicle. It’s just as long as a regular king-sized bed, but about 4 inches narrower to comfortably fit into a cramped recreational vehicle. Shop for specialized RV king-sized bed sheets for the perfect mix of comfort and practicality.
Cal King
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:84 x 72 inches (213 x 183 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 112 x 110 inches (284 x 279 cm)
Cal King mattresses were made for luxurious, supreme comfort. At a whopping 84 x 72 inches, a Cal King mattress is about four inches narrower and four inches longer than a standard king, which is perfect for extra-tall sleepers and ample leg room -- and you’ll need a super-sized fitted sheet to match.
Split King
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:x2 80 x 39 inches (203 x 99 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 112 x 110 inches (284 x 279 cm)
Split king mattresses are the perfect solution for couples who share a bed but have different ideas of comfort. As you might guess, a split king mattress is actually two separate Twin XL mattresses that are pushed together or attached to create one solid king-sized mattress. While comfy, a split king mattress can make it slightly harder to shop for bed sheets, especially if each side of the mattress can move and adjust. Luckily, QuickZip has specialized split king-sized sheets that you can buy in pairs to make both sides of the bed as comfy as possible! The best part: they’re known to stay put when a bed moves or adjusts and you won’t have to move the mattresses to change your sheet..
Split Cal King
Fitted Sheet Dimensions:x2 84 x 36 inches (213 x 91.5 cm)
Flat Sheet Dimensions: 112 x 110 inches (284 x 279 cm)
Like the split king, split cal king mattresses are also made up of two different mattresses. This time, though, you’ll need two Cal Twin mattresses and their respective sheets. Buy the perfect pair of sheets to fit your enormous split mattress here.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find my mattress size?
If you’re unsure of your bed size, take a tape measure and measure the length and width of the mattress from end to end to determine the best fit. You’ll also want to measure the mattress depth and account for any extra mattress toppers that could also add height.
How do I choose the right flat sheet for my mattress?
Our flat sheets come in three different sizes, and each can comfortably fit a variety of mattress sizes.
-
74 x 105 inch Twin/Twin XL: Twin, Cal Twin, TwinXL, Twin XL Dorm, Twin XL Hospital
- 96 x 105 inch Full/Queen:Full, Queen, RV/Short Queen
-
112 x 110 inch King:King, RV King, Cal King, Split King, Split Cal King
In addition, you’ll also want to check the depth (or thickness) of your mattress since those can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. QuickZip sheets are generously sized so that they still allow mattresses at the deepest end of our size range to be tucked in, but you’ll still want to make sure that your mattress falls within our size range for the best fit.
Conclusion
We have a QuickZip bedsheet for almost every mattress out there! When in doubt, take a tape measure and determine the exact width, length, and depth of your mattress so you can rest assured that your bed sheets fit as snugly (and comfy) as possible.
