      Care Instructions

      All QZ products are designed and crafted to make your life easier and more comfortable.  That starts with easy care fabrics and low maintenance laundry days.  All of our bedding is fully washable; cottons and our new hybrid fibers are meant to live and breathe with you.  The premium YKK Vislon zippers are designed (and well tested!) to last wash after wash, and with a smooth finish, wash them worry-free with all your bedding loads.  

      Keep your QuickZip bedding looking and feeling their best with these general tips:

      • QuickZip bedding is engineered to fit!  For the best results, wash before first use. Our cottons are preshrunk and sized for a small amount of additional shrinkage in the first wash.  
      • DO NOT USE chlorine bleach or any laundry products containing oxidizers (such as OxiClean, Gain Flings, Tide UltraOXI, Arm & Hammer with OxiClean) or peroxides.
      • We recommend gentle, non-chlorine stain removers only when needed.  Test before use per manufacturer instructions.
      • Wash with like colors and fabrics.
      • We do not recommend using dryer balls as they have been shown to damage and abrade certain fabrics.
      • Please be aware that cosmetics containing oxidizers such as benzoyl peroxide and alpha hydroxy acids may affect the dyes on your bedding.
      • Flannel:  Because true flannel is brushed to create its signature warmth and softness, some light pilling may naturally occur with use and washing. This is a normal part of the fabric’s character. Wash warm with like-colors and similar fabrics, then tumble dry warm and remove promptly. To keep your flannel soft and cozy, avoid high heat and over-drying, which can stress the brushed cotton fibers. We also recommend washing flannel separately from towels, denim, or anything with Velcro®, metal decor or fasteners, and without dryer balls and fabric softeners, as rougher fabrics can increase surface friction and pilling.
